The 4-Day Pakse (Bolaven Plateau) Easy Rider Loop is an incredible motorbike journey in southern Laos, famous for its massive waterfalls, cool mountain air, indigenous villages, and organic coffee plantations.you will ride on the back of a motorcycle driven by a professional local guide, letting you completely skip the stress of navigating bumpy dirt roads and focus entirely on the breathtaking scenery. The 4-day Pakse Loop (Bolaven Plateau) takes you through Southern Laos, featuring spectacular waterfalls, coffee plantations, and ethnic hill-tribe villages. An "Easy Rider" tour means you ride on the back of a motorbike driven by an experienced local guide, leaving you free to take in the scenery and cultural experiences.

  • Total Distance: ~320 km to 350 km
  • Daily Riding Time: 2 to 4 hours (spread out with frequent attraction stops)
  • Start/End Point: Pakse city center
Day 1: Pakse to Tad Lo (approx. 85 km) ) L, D )
8 :00 AM pick up from your hotel in Pakse. Leave the lowlands behind and climb into the northern edge of the plateau. 
  • Tad Pasuam: Your first stop to stretch your legs and see a beautiful horseshoe-shaped waterfall.
  • Coffee Plantation Tour: Stop at Mr. Vieng's Coffee Place or Katu Coffee Garden for a cup of fresh Bolaven robusta. Learn how coffee beans are locally grown and roasted. 
  • Tad Lo Village: Arrive in this peaceful riverside backpacker hub. Watch locals wash elephants in the river near Tad Hang during the late afternoon.
  • Overnight: Riverfront guesthouse in Tad Lo. 
Day 2: Tad Lo to Sekong & Houay Kong (approx. 120 km) (B, L, D )
Dive deep into rural, lesser-visited areas along the eastern leg of the Big Loop. A massive, dramatic cliff drop where you can stand right at the edge of the river runoff.  Two wide, powerful waterfalls right off the main road to Sekong. 
Stay at Captain Hook's Ethnic Village
Day 3: Houay Kong to Tad Tayicseua (approx. 75 km)(B, L, D )
Enter the wild, rugged heart of the southern plateau, home to the most jaw-dropping hidden canyons.
  • Tad Tayicseua: This is the ultimate waterfall wonderland on the loop. The dirt access road can be muddy and rough, but your Easy Rider guide handles it safely. You will hike down into a dense jungle valley to find up to seven hidden waterfalls blasting out of the cliffs.
  • Muang Paksong: Head toward the "Coffee Capital" of Laos, which sits at a high altitude and gets refreshingly cool at night.
  • Overnight: Jungle resort or eco-lodge near Paksong (like Sabaidee Valley Resort). 
Day 4: Paksong to Pakse via "The Four Sisters" (approx. 60 km) (B, L )
Conquer the famous "Four Sisters" waterfalls along Route 16E as you descend back into Pakse. Visit Tad Champee Waterfall Beautiful, lush waterfalls surrounded by gardens. Tad Yuang is excellent for a refreshing swim or a picnic lunch.
And the visit Tad Fane Waterfall - The crown jewel of Southern Laos. Two twin rivers plunge over 120 meters down into a massive volcanic gorge. For an extra adrenaline rush, you can opt to do the famous zipline across the top of the canyon.  Arrive back in Pakse by late afternoon to return your gear.
