- 7:30 AM – Start from Thakhek: Load up the car and head east on Route 12.
- Morning Cave Hopping: Your driver will take you to these close-by attractions:
- Phaseuem Cave & Tham Nong Pa Fa (Buddha Cave): Sacred and scenic caves hidden among limestone cliffs.
- Xieng Liap Cave: A dramatic cave where a river flows right through the mountain.
- Tham Nang Aen Cave: A large, well-lit cave with walking paths.
- Lunch at ThaFaLang: A beautiful green river spot perfect for a quick lunch and a relaxing view.
- Afternoon Drive: Head up the winding mountain pass toward the Nakai Plateau.
- Stop at Thalang View: Catch the views of the flooded forest and massive reservoir landscape.
- Evening – Arrive at Cool Spring: Complete the drive to the Cool Spring area to check in, swim in the clear water, and stay overnight.
- 8:00 AM – The Rock Viewpoint: A short drive from the springs. Grab a coffee and look out over the breathtaking "limestone forest" peaks.
- 10:00 AM – Konglor Cave: Head down the valley to the massive 7.5 km subterranean cave. You will board a longtail boat with a headlamp to travel completely through the mountain. (Allow about 2–3 hours here for the boat trip and lunch).
- 2:30 PM – The Highway 13 Sprint: Hop back in the car. Your driver will take Route 8 west to the main Highway 13, then head straight south.
- 5- 6:00 PM – Return to Thakhek: Arrive back in town to conclude your tour.
