Day 1: Arrival in Luang Prabang

  • Activity: Meet your Easy Rider captain, fit your gear, and complete your bike orientation. Walk the UNESCO night market and climb Mount Phousi for sunset. 

Day 2: Luang Prabang to Nong Khiaw (~140 km) ( B, L, D )

  • Riding: Cruise North on Route 13 along the Nam Ou River.
  • Highlight: Incredible limestone karst walls rising straight out of the water. Watch for wandering water buffalo on the road edges. 

Day 3: Nong Khiaw Rest & Trekking Day( B, L, D )

  • Activity: Give your body a break from the bike saddle. Take a traditional long-tail boat down to Muang Ngoi or hike up to the Nong Khiaw Som Nang Viewpoint. 

Day 4: Nong Khiaw to Oudomxai (~120 km)( B, L, D )

  • Riding: Moderate mountain ascents with tight corners. Watch out for sudden potholes and loose dirt patches.
  • Highlight: Passing through remote Khmu and Hmong hill-tribe villages. 

Day 5: Oudomxai to Pak Beng (~145 km)( B, L, D )

  • Riding: Wind down Route 2W toward the Mekong River. The roads here are narrow but exceptionally scenic.
  • Highlight: Arriving at the sleepy outpost of Pak Beng, a famous stopping point for Mekong slow boats.

Day 6: Pak Beng to Muang Ngeun (~60 km)( B, L, D )

  • Riding: Short, easy morning ride to the border town to prep your machinery.
  • Highlight: Early afternoon checking over vehicle registration papers and getting your Laos exit stamps sorted before tomorrow's crossing. 

Day 7: Cross Border into Thailand: Muang Ngeun to Pua (~90 km)( B, L, D )

  • Riding: Complete customs at the Muang Ngeun / Huai Kon Border. Cross into Thailand and switch instantly to driving on the left side of the road!
  • Highlight: Riding the brand-new, smooth-as-glass mountain asphalt of Route 1081 and Route 1256 into Pua. 

Day 8: Pua to Nan City via Route 1081 (~110 km) ( B, L, D )

  • Riding: Pure motorcycling heaven. Navigate the famous "Road No. 3" twisties, which mimic a roller coaster over the ridge lines.
  • Highlight: Endless views over the Doi Phu Kha National Park mountain ranges. 

Day 9: Rest Day in Nan City ( B, L, D )

  • Activity: Explore the magnificent Lanna-style temple architecture of Wat Phumin and visit local cafes along the Nan River.

Day 10: Nan to Phrae (~150 km) ( B, L, D )

  • Riding: Cruising south out of the high mountains onto rolling hill roads. The pace naturally speeds up as the tarmac widens.
  • Highlight: Cruising past traditional Teak wood mansions in Phrae's old town.

Day 11: Phrae to Sukhothai (~170 km)( B, L, D )

  • Riding: Easy, flat highway riding through rural agricultural fields.
  • Highlight: Arriving at the Sukhothai Historical Park, the first ancient capital of Siam. Watch the sunset illuminate the standing stone Buddha ruins. [

Day 12: Sukhothai Rest & Historical Exploration ( B, L, D )

  • Activity: Swap the motorbike for a casual bicycle to navigate around the historical park's ancient moats, walls, and structures effortlessly.

Day 13: Sukhothai to Kamphaeng Phet (~90 km)( B, L, D )

  • Riding: A short, laid-back morning run along Route 101.
  • Highlight: Explore the dense, jungle-clad ruins of Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park, a UNESCO sister-site that sees very few tourists

Day 14: Kamphaeng Phet to Lopburi (~280 km)( B, L, D )

  • Riding: Long-distance endurance day across Thailand's central plains. Highway 1 is fast-paced, wide, and flat.
  • Highlight: Entering Lopburi, Thailand's famous "Monkey City," where thousands of macaques freely roam the ancient Khmer temple of Prang Sam Yod.

Day 15: Lopburi to Ayutthaya (~75 km)( B, L, D )

  • Riding: Short, final morning sprint alongside the Chao Phraya river basin.
  • Highlight: Rolling into your ultimate destination: Ayutthaya. Celebrate the journey's end by visiting the iconic Buddha head entwined in Banyan tree roots at Wat Mahathat. 

Day 16: Ayutthaya Departure( B )

Activity: Final check-out, return your motorbikes to the support crew, and catch an easy 1-hour train or private taxi into Bangkok for your flight home.
