A 4-day motorbike tour from Luang Prabang to the Tay Trang border (Laos-Vietnam border) is an adventurous way to explore northern Laos and the scenic routes leading to Vietnam. It is a very enjoyable trip for non-experienced riders who have a short time to travel cause the destinations we chose to ride on the tour are some of the best palaces to do motorbike rides in which there are famous and interesting attractions and the roads to ride on are perfect with picturesque mountain passes, and the peaceful valley with interesting and friendly people. Mainly good roads, but remote areas may be rugged or unpaved.
Day 1: Luang Prabang to Oudomxay (Approx. 210 km) ( L, D )
- Morning: 7:30 AM pick up from your hotel and Depart early from Luang Prabang, heading south along Route 13.
- Highlights:
- Ride through lush mountains and rural villages.
- Possible stop at Namkat Yorla Pa Waterfall near Oudomxay.
- Experience local Lao countryside and markets.
- Arrive in Oudomxay, stay overnight, and explore the town.
Day 2: Oudomxay to Muang La / Muang Xay (Approx. 180 km) ( B , L , D )
- Morning: Continue riding on Route 13 southward.
- Highlights:
- Scenic mountain roads and remote villages.
- Muang La is known for its natural hot springs and ethnic cultures.
- Relax at Muang La, stay overnight, and enjoy local cuisine.
Day 3: Muang La to Ban Mun (near Vietnamese border, Approx. 150 km) ( B, L, D )
- Morning: Ride towards the Tay Trang border crossing area.
- Highlights:
- Experience rural Laos and mountain scenery.
- Arrive at the border near Ban Munfor overnight .
Day 4: Cross Border & Explore Dien Bien Phu (Vietnam) ( B )
- Morning: Complete border formalities if crossing into Vietnam.

- Note: Ensure all travel documents (passport, visa, permits) are prepared.
